Singer / Actress Lulu to Appear on PROFILES

PROFILES Host Mickey Burns interviews Singer and Actress Lulu, who has carved out a show business career that few can rival.

New York, NY, March 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- PROFILES Host Mickey Burns interviews Singer and Actress Lulu, who has carved out a show business career that few can rival. She's worked with the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Tom Jones and Elton John. Lulu made a film with Sidney Poitier and has produced numerous hit records over her accomplished career.

Back in the late 60's, Lulu starred in the film "To Sir With Love" opposite the great Sidney Poitier. She also performed the title song to the film which rose to No. 1 on the charts. Also, in the 70's Lulu sang the theme song to the James Bond Movie "The Man With The Golden Gun."

Among her many talents, Lulu is also an accomplished Songwriter. In the 80's she wrote "I Don't Wanna Fight" performed by Tina Turner on her hit soundtrack "What's Love Got To Do With It?" And most recently, she served as a mentor to aspiring singers on "American Idol" to a National Audience.

Lulu began her singing career at the age of 15, six decades later she's still going strong with concerts and television appearances around the world.

This episode of PROFILES will air on NYC life channel 25 on Friday evening March 8th at 10:30 PM and then repeat on Monday 11th at 12:30 PM.
