Pacific International Commodities Exchange Hold Merchant Assembly, Client Rewards

As part of their continuing commitment to strengthening partnership with merchants, Pacific International Commodities Exchange recently held the 15th Merchant Assembly and Rewards Night.

London, United Kingdom, April 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Merchant Assembly, which carried the theme “In the Height of Influence: What Comes After?,” presented several panel discussions and lectures which dwelt on different tropics that affect the trading industry. Business Enterprise Relations Head Charlotte Brooks, who discussed about retaining vendor / merchant relations and the industry, keynoted the event.

Speakers from the fields of marketing, trade and commerce, finance, BPO, energy, logistics, construction, and banking shared their insights on the latest in their respective industries, the best practices, and how the company can take advantage of these. Among the speakers were our very own finance consultant expert William Jelley, who surely challenged everyone and left a food for thought when part of his speech said, “…. Economies have to be created by people who are not just intellectually gifted but who also have the humanitarian concern for the people. There can be and there will be times when we get too caught up in the numbers that we forget the people who make the numbers count.”

The two-day forum was capped by the awards night held at London Corporate Office newly renovated “ballroom” (it looked like one but it is not as they say). Gracing the occasion were Pacific International Commodities Exchange CEO Mr. Marco Parker, Pacific International Commodities Exchange Director for International Merchant Relations, Carla Morgan and her husband Rodney Morgan.

Pacific International Commodities Exchange was named “Most Outstanding Auxiliary of the year” for its exemplary efforts and performance in branch operations, client retention, & year-end returns. Excellence Awards were also given to Corporate Offices in Asia, Europe, and the US. This year, the London Corporate Office was given the Hall of Fame award for winning the Over-all Client Satisfaction Survey for three consecutive years. Malaysia Corporate Office took home the Overall Marketing Excellence Award, while Australia Corporate Office received the Special Awards for its Community Immersion & Awareness program.
