White Plains Linen Announces Their Participation and Co-Sponsorship for the 2013 Keon Center Golf Outing at Hollow Brook Country Club

Keon Center, a non-profit agency certified by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, plans to host its Second Annual Golf Outing on Monday, May 20th (rain date is May 21st ) at the Hollow Brook Country Club in Cortlandt Manor, New York.

“The event is a benefit to both the agency and the people involved,” stated William Melville, Keon Center’s Executive Director. “It gives us a chance to show the public our programs and services that we offer to disabled consumers and definitely shows the cooperation we have with the local business partners, such as those who are participating as sponsors.”

The proceeds will not only allow local businesses to participate in goodwill activities but also help to raise monies for Keon to service the developmentally disabled community. The Keon Center is a training facility that offers various imperative services, as well as provides life skills for individuals with these developmental disabilities. In order to achieve these goals, there are a host of many services made available, where some of them include: supported employment training, Medicaid service coordination, day habilitation, prevocational training, family support services and after-hours recreational programs.
