North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association to Host 2013 Summer Conference June 27-30

NCVMA Conference in Pinehurst Offers 20 Hours of Companion Animal Continuing Education

Raleigh, NC, May 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (http://www.ncvma.org/) has announced that it will host its annual Summer Veterinary Conference June 27-30 at the Pinehurst Resort, located at 80 Carolina Vista Drive in Pinehurst, N.C. Chaired by David Linzey, D.V.M., and Shannon Foy, D.V.M., the conference will cover a wide variety of topics including Cushing’s Syndrome, Lower Urinary Tract Disease, Liver Disease, Professional Liability, Open Wound Management, Diabetic Control, Chronic GI Disease, Feline Dentistry, Periodontal Disease and Oncology. The conference will also include several special events including a Nerve Block Lab, for which separate registration is required; a Walkabout Lunch through the exhibit hall sponsored by Elanco Animal Health; a welcome reception hosted by the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Novartis Animal Health US; a celebration to recognize the 2013-2014 NCVMA officers and 2013 award recipients; and a Friends of the NCVMA Foundation Business Luncheon, for which tickets are required.
