Local HR Management Firm Offers Comprehensive Training Courses For Triad Business Professionals

-“Ask the Expert – Keep up with I-9 Compliance: The new I-9 Form and North Carolina’s E-Verify Law” is a free, CAI members-only program led by Bernhard Mueller, attorney with Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart P.C. During the course, attendees will learn about the new two-page I-9 form and discuss any resulting changes to the I-9 verification process. Additionally, the course will detail some of the more unique compliance challenges that employers face, such as dealing with remote employees, foreign students with work permits, foreign nationals sponsored for visas, refugees and more. As most North Carolina companies are now required to use the federal E-verify system, course participants will review the current trends in E-verify compliance enforcements and best practices for facing government scrutiny. A program of CAI’s “Ask the Expert Series,” the course is built to be interactive and all participants are encouraged to bring forth relevant questions regarding their organizations.
