Ultralife® Corporation Launches Second-Generation A-320V2-A 20-Watt 30-512 MHz Manportable Amplifier

Ultralife Corporations's Communications Systems Division Introduces new 20-watt tactical amplifier with support for Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) and Adaptive Networking Wideband Waveform (ANW2) from Harris Corporation.

Newark, NY, June 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Ultralife Corporation’s Communications Systems division this week announced their new A-320V2-A 20-watt, 30-512 MHz manportable tactical amplifier.

The A-320V2-A is the latest evolution of Ultralife’s popular A-320 series of tactical amplifiers and offers support for the Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) and the Harris Adaptive Networking Wideband Waveform (ANW2TM). The A-320V2-A maintains support for legacy waveforms including HAVEQUICK, SINCGARS, DAMA, and others.

In addition to supporting today's fastest waveforms, the A-320V2-A is compatible with Ultralife's A-320HVA Handheld Vehicle Adapter and LPAS-320U Lightweight Portable Amplification System. This offers unparalleled operational flexibility, offering an ideal solution for quickly transitioning from mounted to dismounted comms.

The A-320V2-A is based on Ultralife's popular, combat-proven A-320 series of tactical, manportable 20-watt amplifiers. It weighs a mere 24 ounces, and is the lightest manportable tactical amplifier on the market that offers support for popular modern waveforms. The A-320V2-A accepts 18-34 volts DC input, and provides up to 20 watts of RF power across the entire 30-512 MHz frequency range. It also features selectable power output for 7, 10, 15, and 20 watts - with LED indicators. The A-320V2-A is sealed and weather-resistant, and submersible to 1M for up to 30 minutes.

Ultralife developed the A-320V2-A specifically to meet the needs of the warfighter. It is sealed and weather-resistant, and MIL-STD 810F and MIL-STD 461E specifications for environmentals and EMI.
