International Advanced Healing Group: Medical Tourism and Aging Population Boost Wound Management

IAHG issues buoyant guidance on future earnings as Asia-Pacific medical tourism and human longevity increase exponentially.

Singapore, Singapore, October 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- IAHG [International Advanced Healing Group], the Singapore-based wound management technology company, and its wholly owned US based subsidiary AHI (Advanced Health Institute) have issued upbeat guidance on future earnings citing an exponential increase in both medical tourism to the Asia-Pacific region and greater overall human lifespans as key drivers of revenue and profit in the medium-to-long term.

Advanced Health Institute, a leader in wound healing, information, technology and outcomes in health care recently announced that it has engaged two large health care providers to utilize its proprietary, cloud based Healthcare Outcomes Operational Platform (HOOP) and to begin integration of its TruHeal Wound Care Program. This is a continuation of several years of development with health care providers and insurers seeing the benefit of these programs. AHI is confident that these initiatives will continue to grow and expand as the company moves into 2014.

According to independent analysis, the wound care/wound closure market in the Asia-Pacific region generated revenues in the region of $500 million in 2012. Strong growth in medical tourism from advanced nations has underpinned the ongoing need for faster wound treatment aimed at expediting patient discharge from hospital post-procedure.

A spokesman at International Advanced Healing Group said, “The significant increase in living standards for millions of Asians over the last decade has brought with it an increase in lifestyle conditions like diabetes which call for greater focus on faster wound healing for even minor nicks and cuts.”

Medical advances and better diet mean that people are living longer and they are doing so with ailments that may have resulted in death a mere 20 years ago but these conditions – skin cancer, diabetes – still require treatment using highly-advanced wound treatment/management techniques.

“We fully expect to increase revenues and profits during 2014 from a strong base and are confident that our efforts will continue to create value for our clients and their patients in the months and years going forward,” concluded the International Advanced Healing Group spokesman.
