)-- Real Estate Broker Brett Furman returned to his undergraduate alma mater, Temple University to teach a class on Marketing and Social Media for real estate professionals. The class qualifies the students for the required real estate Continuing Education or credit towards a Pennsylvania Real Estate license.
Mr. Furman shared his marketing secrets that he uses in his real estate practice. He discussed the recent newspaper article written about his success growing the response rate for his direct mail program by 46%. The story moved from several local Suburban Philadelphia newspapers to multiple internet sites. The internet exposure helped create an interview with The Chief Marketer, a global publication that covers the best in measurable marketing and helps marketing leaders navigate today's fast changing marketing landscape. Brett showed the class how the story was further promoted with several social media programs.
"It was so gratifying to bring real life examples into the classroom. I now understand what made my mother, a former teacher so happy during her teaching career," stated Mr. Furman. "The lecture was given in honor of my mother, Flora Furman a local Tredyffrin Easttown teacher and former graduate of Temple University." A donation was made to the Flora Furman Memorial Fund at the American Cancer Society after the lecture.
