SynExi Wins First Department of Defense Contract

The US Navy Selects SynExi for a SeaPort-e Prime Contract

Fairfax, VA, September 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- SynExi, LLC. announced that is has been awarded a Seaport-e prime contract from the Department of the Navy. SynExi was created by well known IT and IPv6 experts Dr. Chuck Lynch and Dale Geesey to provide government and commercial organizations with strategic-level consulting on applying technology to meet their mission and goals. SynExi provides insight into many critical areas of advanced technology such as IPv6, enterprise architecture, systems engineering, and disaster recovery. The company not only helps guide federal agencies to meet the specific requirements of OMB’s 2008 deadline for IPv6 compliance, but how to implement technologies such as IPv6 to achieve the greatest long-term benefit for their agency.

SeaPort-e has made electronic procurement of Engineering, Financial, and Program Management support services a reality. Using SeaPort-e, the Navy Virtual SYSCOM (VS) Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR) has adopted an integrated approach to contracting for support services. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized means of issuing competitive solicitations amongst a large & diverse community of approved contractors, as well as a platform for awarding & managing performance-based task orders. This unified approach allows SeaPort-e service procurement teams to leverage their best work products, practices, & approaches across the Navy's critical service business sector.
