December: the Season of Giving

Tucson, AZ, December 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Women on the Verge is a supportive online community that brings together dynamic and talented women from around the globe in celebration of sisterhood.

“How lovely to think that no one need wait a moment; we can start now, start slowly changing the world!”
––Anne Frank (diary entry, 1944)

Throughout December, Women on the Verge (WOTV) invites members to share stories of giving. From favorite charities to most memorable volunteer moments, celebrate this month of generosity with fellow Women who are on the Verge.

During this month’s topic, December: The Season of Giving, Women on the Verge members will explore and discuss what giving means to them via WOTV's online community blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and Vlogs. Each day in December, WOTV will highlight a different charity and dedicate associated posts on Facebook and Twitter. This is a perfect time to bring your favorite charity into the spotlight.

The WOTV blogs garnered over two million hits in November 2013. Blogs are the core of the community, and have been featured in Marie Claire magazine. The community also boasts an additional 15,000+ followers on social media. Members span the globe and include New York Times bestselling authors, entrepreneurs and mothers.

Anyone can join the conversation by visiting www.womenontheverge.net and creating a free account.

WOTV was founded in September 2009 by Ana Lewis in Tucson, Arizona. WOTV now incorporates all sorts of social media, and continues to grow its members and audience.
