Toll Brothers Colorado Supports Operation Holidays from Home

Six huge boxes of supplies were sent to troops overseas as part of the Operation Holidays from Home project.

Denver, CO, December 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- For the second year, Toll Brothers Colorado is supporting U.S. Troops for the holidays by collecting non-perishable food and personal items to send overseas.

Through Operation Holidays from Home, more than 300 pounds of items were collected at its Colorado communities and sent to Joel Smith and the 20 men in his E.O.D (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) Army unit. Smith, 31, is the brother of a Toll Brothers Corporate employee and has been in the Army since he was 18. Smith is married and has an 18-month-old daughter.

“We support the service of all of our troops and were pleased that we could collect and ship six large boxes of much-needed supplies to Joel and his unit,” says Charlie Bowie, Colorado Division President for Toll Brothers. “We also appreciate the support of the Pak Mail Store at University Boulevard and Evans Avenue (Denver) that donated the boxes and packing supplies for all of our donated items.”
