Moab, UT, January 03, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- The JogTunes Group is happy and proud to announce the publication of the 100th monthly episode of their popular show, the JogTunes Indie Podcast. Featuring the finest indie artists, this niche music podcast offers tunes, sequenced by BPM, for matching the tempo with your running pace. Over the past 8 years, Dr. Bob, host of the podcast, has produced the show and provided voice-overs announcing the BPMs and the artists' names and locations.
The 100th episode is a retrospective tribute to many of the great artists who have appeared on the show. Bob Gentry first appeared in 2006 as did Matthew Ebel. Other veterans include Alexx Calise and Hedda Layne, who came to the show in 2009, and Louinel Jean, in 2008. Their tunes, as well as those by 10 other outstanding artists, are sequenced for a 50 minute workout, divided into warm-up, full run, and cool-down segments. The BPM ranges from 120 to 178.
Dr. Bob is excited about how well the JogTunes iOS and Android apps have been received. As he explained it, "I really find it satisfying to know that many people around the world access the podcast via the apps. It's a very easy way to get up and running to the show."
The JogTunes Group is grateful to the many artists and promotion companies for providing the wonderful indie music. They look forward to many more years of motivating runners to workout to the beat.
About the JogTunes Group
The JogTunes Group LLC produces jogtunes.com and The JogTunes Indie podcast. Dr. Bob Marcus, the founder and CEO, developed jogtunes.com after he began to experience the motivating power of running exactly to the tempo of his music. Preferring original vocal and instrumental music over synthesized running music tracks, he determined the BPMs of the music and created playlists for his runs. This led to the development of the website, which has been offering lists of BPM-rated label and indie music for over 10 years.
