"Classic Alice: Book One" to Crack Open March 4, 2014

Kate Hackett Prod and AntiKaiser set the release date for the first season of "Classic Alice" and release additional promotional material, including a one sheet and behind-the-scenes production stills.

Burbank, CA, January 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Two weeks after announcing their new webseries, Kate Hackett Productions and AntiKaiser continued the "Classic Alice" momentum with the release of additional promotional material, along with revealing a release date for the first "book"—otherwise known as a season.

“We aren’t calling them seasons,” explained executive producer Aaron Matthew Kaiser. “Each group of episodes will essentially be a different book that Alice lives her life by, so we are calling them books.”

"Classic Alice: Book One" will premiere on Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 at 9:00 AM PST on http://youtube.com/ClassicAliceSeries and run for six consecutive weeks. The episodes, accompanied by complimentary transmedia content, will also be available on the official website that is currently under construction. Once the site goes live in the coming weeks, it will provide links to all official show and character social media accounts. To celebrate the release date announcement, the "Classic Alice" producers also released a one sheet and several behind-the-scenes production stills from filming. Additional promotional material, including behind-the-scenes interviews with cast and crew, will be released each Tuesday leading up the the March 4th release.

"Classic Alice" is a vlog-style webseries set at the fictitious New England college, Valeton University. The story centers around title character, Alice, who decides to film a documentary about living life according to classic literature after receiving a bad grade on an essay. Alice will be played by series writer/creator Kate Hackett. She will be joined by Tony Noto playing Andrew, Alice’s filmmaker friend who helps her document her exploits, and Elise Cantu as Cara, Alice’s roommate.
