The Milwaukee Skeeball League's Charit-Skee Super Roll Fundraiser

The Milwaukee Skeeball League is giving back to the members that make it so enjoyable and memorable each Skeeson. At G-Daddy's BBC from 2:30pm until halftime during the Super Bowl, the league will hold a Charit-Skee Super Roll Fundraiser, benefiting two league members charities, Parents for Public Schools MKE, and Southeastern Wisconsin Common Ground. Donations of $5 are accepted to roll your best 4 games and contribute the points to your charity of choice.

Milwaukee, WI, January 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On February 2nd, 2014 from 2:30PM through the end of half-time at the Super Bowl, The Milwaukee Skeeball League will be holding a Charit-Skee Super Roll at BBC on Milwaukee’s East Side, with all proceeds benefiting Parents for Public Schools of Milwaukee (PPS-MKE) and Southeastern Wisconsin Common Ground. Rollers from across Milwaukee will donate $5 to roll their best four games of skeeball, contributing the point total to their charity of choice. The league will be giving out prizes from various sponsors, along with donating all proceeds to the two league member’s local Non-Profits. This will coincide with the league’s Free Skee event on January 28th at 7PM, and the start of the league the following week.

Parents for Public Schools of Milwaukee (PPS-MKE) is a group of Milwaukee-area parents, grandparents, and community members who share the belief that public schools are stronger when parents are actively involved. PPS-MKE was founded by a group of parents working together to strengthen public schools across Milwaukee. As a 501c-3 nonprofit, PPS-MKE is a chapter of the national organization Parents for Public Schools. PPS-MKE operates collaboratively, seeking out partnerships with individuals and organizations, whose good ideas and hard work put our children first. Our 40,000 members live and work in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties, and our diversity – geographic, racial, social, and political – is the source of our strength. Common Ground is an affiliate of the Industrial Areas Foundation, the nation’s first and largest alliance of community organizations, that has seven decades of experience winning tough battles for affordable housing, health care access, school reform and effective job training.
