)-- Kathryn Walker was recently elected to the Chicago Board of Directors of Step Up, a non-profit organization whose mission is to propel girls from under-resourced communities to fulfill their potential by empowering them to become confident, college-bound, career-focused, and ready to join the next generation of professional women.
Founded in 1998, Step Up has offices in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.
