Naples, FL, February 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Easter Seals Florida 17th annual Naples Invitational Art Fest raised $98,000 to support Easter Seals’ autism programs in Southwest Florida. The Naples Invitational Art Fest is a juried show that was ranked 31st in the United States in the September 2013 edition of Sunshine Artist magazine, the nation’s premier art and craft show magazine.

This annual show included more than 140 fine art and craft artists in a variety of mediums. Art Fest judges Arturo Correa and Marvin Manning named painter Don Plumridge and jeweler Antoni Kozlowski Best in Show.

“The Naples Invitational Art Fest is unique in Florida and the country because the proceeds benefit a 501(c) 3 organization, Easter Seals Florida,” said Douglas Sharpe, Art Fest Chair. “Our sponsor contributions, the donations contributed by attendees as they entered the gate and proceeds from silent auction works donated by participating artists directly benefit Easter Seals’ services in Southwest Florida. These include the Lily Academies, K-12 schools in Fort Myers and Naples for children with autism, clinical services, consultations and community training, and adult residential and day training.”

2014 Naples Invitational Art Fest sponsors include Arthrex, Publix, Associates and Bruce L. Scheiner and The Naples Daily News.
