Bend, OR, February 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Builders Site Protection announced today that they have been selected by general contractor Andersen Construction to provide all surface protection materials for the Oregon State University Austin Hall project. Builders Site Protection is supplying Protecta-Foam™ adhesive protection to prevent damage to the project’s three-sided interior columns. The superintendent purchasing the Protecta-Foam™ had used Builders Site Protection’s 18” x 600’ long-term protection before on a project in Portland, OR and was so impressed with its performance that he insisted it be used again on the Austin Hall project. OSU’s Austin Hall project is still in its early stages. As the project progresses, Builders Site Protection will supply a variety of surface protection products as needed.

Oregon State University’s Austin Hall will be home to OSU’s School of Business. It is a LEED gold, 4-story, 100,000 square foot education facility. The state-of-the-art structure will accommodate 5,000 students per year and features a 250-seat auditorium, ten classrooms, 86 offices, and several mixed use rooms. The building will also harbor a café and the Austin Family Business Program. Builders Site Protection’s 18” x 600’ Protecta-Foam™ will provide long-term protection for interior columns and will prevent damage from stucco spray and paint spatter as well as protecting against impact damage from tool belts and construction materials. The product adheres to a multitude of surfaces including wood, tile, plastic, etc. and can be left on for up to a year without risking adhesive transfer upon removal.

President of Builders Site Protection Pat Mullen states, “We are thrilled to be chosen to supply surface protection for the OSU Austin Hall project. As always, Builders Site Protection is committed to providing the very best in protection products and customer service. We appreciate our ongoing partnership with Andersen Construction and look forward to continuing to help with their surface protection needs in the future.”
