"What a Difference a Friend Can Make" Gala to Benefit Keystone House, Inc. Will be Held on Friday, April 25, 2014

A pre-gala kick off party on February 26 was held at Aitoro in Norwalk to build momentum for the April 25th Keystone House gala. Mayor Harry Rilling mingled with sponsors, supporters, friends, staff and board members during the evening.

Norwalk, CT, March 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- “What a Difference a Friend Can Make” 2014 gala auction and dinner to benefit Keystone House, Inc. will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Rolling Hills Country Club, Wilton, CT. The Wilton Congregational Church will be honored for their continued support and friendship of Keystone House, Inc.

A pre-gala kick off party on February 26 was held at Aitoro in Norwalk to build momentum for the April 25th event. Osteria Romana, Romanacci Pizza Bar, Robeks, Trader Joes, Diamond Chocolatiers, DoubleTree Hotel, Fountainhead Wine and Two Roads Brewery donated the food and beverages and music by The Collection. Mayor Harry Rilling mingled with sponsors, supporters, friends, staff and board members during the evening.

Former News 12 CT anchor, Easton resident and co-host of The Exchange, David Smith, will be the celebrity host and auctioneer for the evening. There will be a silent auction, a live auction, open bar, dinner, live music by "The Collection” and dancing. Also the debut of an all new video by Media Sponsor, Palace Productions of Norwalk, CT about Keystone House and the importance of the understanding and acceptance of friends in the treatment and recovery of individuals struggling with mental illness.

This is Keystone’s primary fundraising event, which helps to support their mission. Keystone’s purpose is to assist adults facing the many challenges of a psychiatric disability to live a happy and safe life. Keystone helps nurture personal success and satisfaction through an independent housing program and rehabilitation services.

Keystone’s residential services include two transitional housing programs, a long-term housing program, and a supportive apartment program. In addition to housing, Keystone offers psychosocial programming that promotes social, cultural, recreational, educational, and rehabilitation services.

TFI Envision, Inc. of Norwalk, a Success Sponsor for the event, is also donating the creative development of the event materials and PR again this year as they have done for the last several years. Diamond Chocolatiers, Inc. is the Chocolate Sponsor and Wilton RE is a Partner Sponsor.

The proceeds will benefit the many programs and services Keystone House provides for adults facing the challenges of living with mental illness. Tables of 10 are $2,000 with individual tickets at $200.
