Delivering Personal Budgets Conference Announced by Capita Conferences

This national conference on Delivering Personal Budgets looks into the challenges faced by stakeholders from health, social care, housing and the voluntary sector as they look to roll out personal budgets and offer them to a wider number of client groups. The NHS Mandate states that by 2015 people with long-term health conditions who could benefit, will be given the option of a personal health budget and that by October, 2014 all patients in receipt of Continuing Healthcare will have the right to a personal budget.

This conference provides expert guidance and practical support to meet these priorities, exploring best practice from trailblazing and pilot areas who are "going further, faster." Key themes will explore integrated health and social care personal budgets, supporting service users, transforming commissioning, personal budgets in mental health and substance misuse services, and individual budgets for disabled children.
