Ohio nursing home and assisted living facility residents rated their facilities highly in an Ohio Department of Aging survey released today. Several nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Northeast Ohio made the top 24 list, according to resident opinion of care there.

Aurora, OH, April 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- More than 27,000 nursing homes and 11,000 assisted living community residents in over 1,500 facilities participated in the annual State funded survey.

"All of us at Anna Maria are extremely proud of this high ranking among our peers across the state. We have applied our family's 50 plus years of dedication to Senior care to provide residents a superior living experience. We believe in empowering our residents to enable them to get the most out of life," explained Rob Norton, President of Anna Maria. Rob and brother, George Norton are Co-owners of The Campus of Anna Maria.

Five Northeast Ohio residential care facilities were ranked in the top 25 in the State:

Pleasant Point Assisted Living in Barberton: 98.6%
Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina: 98.1%
The Village of St. Edward in Fairlawn: 97.8%
