Water for Vets® Offers "Trickle Down" Effect for Veterans in Need

One company is changing the world, and offering a hand up- not a hand out- for Veterans. Water For Vets® is presenting a business opportunity that allows Veterans to keep 100% of profits and the potential to hire other Vets.

Washington, DC, April 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Water For Vets® launched by Samson Functional is dedicated to helping change the lives of Veterans. The company, which sells branded Water For Vets Water® water bottles and branded Water For Vets® Americans with Disabilities (ADA) compliant vending machines, has developed a business strategy meant to empower Veterans through entrepreneurship.

“No other corporation is doing what we are doing right now. We provide Veterans a proven business model and we ask for zero percent royalties in return. The Veterans own and operate their own vending machine business. The Water For Vets® branded machines depending on the machine can hold up to 144 plus bottles at a time, the veteran owner gets to keep all of the profits, and they can hire other Vets to help out upon expansion. It is a win-win module for all involved,” said Al Samson of Water For Vets®.

Vending machines are a $40 plus billion dollar industry! Research shows that in the United States alone approximately every minute over $76,000 is put into vending machines. This is estimated at and or close to $110 million per day. Water For Vets® has also teamed up with The Partnership for Healthier America (PHA) to support the Drink Up initiative.

Drink Up was formed between PHA, which works with the private sector and PHA Honorary Chair First Lady Michelle Obama to make the healthy choice the, easy choice for busy parents and families - and stakeholders across the public and private sectors who are dedicated to encouraging Americans to drink more water more often. The Drink Up logo will be placed on every Water For Vets® water bottle and vending machine when produced.

Water For Vets® believes the vending machine business module offers Veterans the financial and professional freedom they need, especially upon return from service. “PTSD is a real thing. When a Vet comes back from service the transition to a 9-5 job isn’t always a reasonable option. Owning a vending machine business accommodates Veterans and their medical needs. They own their company. They don’t have to worry about the pressures of a desk job or dealing with PTSD, or other medical issues, when working for someone else. They are in charge of their lives, their own finances, and they can approach the business as aggressively or non-aggressively as needed dependent on each Vets’ circumstances,” finished Samson.

Al Samson is available to speak with the media about the many benefits of buying a Water For Vets® vending machine or hosting one at a government building, corporate office, private businesses, colleges, universities or at public schools.

In 2010, PHA was created in conjunction with – but independent from – First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! effort.
