)-- The Spot Athletics is pleased to announce that their athlete, Jaden Mattox, has won the Junior High State Wrestling Championships for the third straight year. This makes him the 8th wrestler in the history of the Ohio Athletic Committee to win all three years of Junior High. J.L. Holdsworth, Owner of The Spot Athletics, commented on Jaden’s success: “Jaden has trained with us year round since he started almost three years ago. Most kids want to take time off from lifting during their season, but Jaden understands that there is no ‘time off’ if you want to be the best.”
Jaden has has had a great run nationally as well as in the state. He has won several national tournaments over the past year and is poised to have a great high school wrestling career. Jaden will be a freshman at Central Crossing High School next fall and he is looking forward to winning his fourth state championship in a row. He had this to say about his three state championships, “I am proud of this accomplishment but I want to win all four years in high school because that is the part of your career people really remember.”
