In the '60s and '70s, the Village Subway was the hotbed of the underground music scene. It attracted then up-and-coming acts such as Pat Benatar, Doc Watson, Steppenwolf, Iggy Pop, .38 special, Jimmy Buffet, The Ramones, R.E.M., Bette Midler, Tom Waits and Muddy Waters. The Subway was the place. The Underground was the movement that propelled young talent to a bigger stage.
The Love Language is part of the local Raleigh music scene and is poised to jump onto the national scene...but not before they play Cameron Village.
A fast paced fashion preview features boutiques from the Village and outfits will be given away via social media.
