The First Tee of the Triangle to Receive Donation of 10 Lenovo Yoga Tablet Computers for Students

Lenovo Awards Local Youth Development Organization Through Its Doers for Youth Employee Grant on April 28.

Raleigh, NC, May 08, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The First Tee of the Triangle, a nonprofit organization dedicated to impacting the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf, has announced that the organization has received a Doers For Youth Employee Grant from Lenovo, a multinational technology company. This grant will provide 10 free Yoga Tablet computers for the students participating in The First Tee of the Triangle.

Representatives from Lenovo will deliver the tablets on Monday, April 28 between the 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. classes at Knights Play Golf Center, located at 2512 Ten-Ten Road in Apex, N.C. At this time, the students will be available for photos with the new products.

Headquartered in Morrisville, N.C., Lenovo is an ongoing supporter of The First Tee of the Triangle’s efforts, and through this donation, participating students will have direct access to top-of-the-line technology. These donated tablets will be utilized as The First Tee of the Triangle rolls out a new STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) component to its curriculum in summer 2014. The Android-based Yoga Tablets have an impressive 18-hour battery life and can convert into three different modes for various uses. This donation was secured through The Doers For Youth Employee Grant Program, which rewards Lenovo employees for their volunteer time donated to a youth-focused nonprofit organization.
