The Chatman Women's Foundation Partners Up with Houston's All Stars of Comedy

Houston, TX, May 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On May 14, 2014 at the Houston Improv, The Chatman Women's Foundation will stand together with the Houston All-Stars of Comedy, Vol. 3.4 – brought to you by Carlos Wallace of Sol-Caritas. The Chatman Women's Foundation financially empowers women to be independent contributors to society and teaches them how to achieve and maintain a balance in every area of life.

Every year Shantera Chatman and her associates put on the Annual Women’s Empowerment Conference in Houston Texas. The conference involves women from all over the community coming together in an intimate setting, in a philanthropic mindset, to get training and inspiration for building a better life.

Issues such as health and wellness, career objectives and goals, family, and social activism are tackled. According to Founder Shantera Chatman, "AWEC is not a leadership conference." It is a dialogue between women from all walks of life participating in an intimate exchange with women leaders of the community. In the past, speakers such as Kim Coles have graced the AWEC stage delivering points of empowerment through laughter.

Laughter and happiness are key ingredients in building better lives. A life without laughter is a life unbalanced.
