)-- 247 Home Rescue (http://247homerescue.co.uk) is thrilled to have raised approximately £6,000 for the Telegraph and Argus' Bradford Crocus Cancer Appeal.
Staff at the firm's Bradford contact centred dressed in animal onesies and pyjamas on Thursday May 15th to mark the first-ever Crocus Week. Some of the boiler breakdown cover specialist's workers also abseiled down Bradford's Jury's Inn hotel on Saturday May 10th.
Speaking to the Telegraph and Argus, Manager Sabina Latif said: "We had a good mix of outfits, and everyone put the effort in. "There is a strong feeling of support for the charity," she added.
Kevin Burke, 247 Home Rescue spokesperson, added: "It is great to see our apprentices and staff members doing so much for charity. Their bravery in abseiling is matched by their impressive donation results."
247 Home Rescue has access to over 3,000 Gas Safe-registered engineers, which enables them to respond to their member’s claims in as little as four hours. The firm operates on a membership basis, with no long-term contracts, call-out fees or other unexpected expenses.
