Beynon Sports Serves Up a New Tennis Facility

Ellensburg, WA, May 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Build it and they will come. Beynon Sports recently completed a massive overhaul of Central Washington University’s tennis facility. The dilapidated tennis courts were rebuilt and now feature a state-of-the-art eight (8) court tennis surface.

The project required the existing surface to be completely ripped up and a new subbase to be constructed. By reconfiguring the layout from 10 to 8 courts, Beynon Sports was able to maximize the space to allow for larger walkways and offer the possibility of adding bleachers. One of the courts unique features is the two tone red and maroon finish which showcases CWU’s school colors. Along with the tennis surface, Beynon Sports’ specialized installation team fenced in the facility and equipped CWU with the necessary equipment to complete the project.

“During the entire project, local residents were continuously checking in on the progress of the construction,” said Cody Taylor, Beynon Sports’ Tennis operations manager, “They were thrilled to see the evolution of the courts and excited for completion.”

Central Washington University doesn’t currently have an established tennis program, but the local community and university students will be ready to serve away and take advantage of the finished facility.
