Las Vegas, NV, June 06, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Las Vegas and Henderson Massage Envy Spas recently participated in an effort to raise money and awareness for the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation in Southern Nevada. $1.00 from every Sugar Foot Scrub purchased during the month of April was donated to the foundation to provide shoes, socks and other essential items for children, many of whom have never owned a new pair of shoes. Additionally, clients also supported Goodie Two Shoes by purchasing and signing paper "sneaker prints,” which were displayed on the clinics’ walls. Massage Envy Spas’ efforts resulted in more than $2,600.00 in donations for the group.
About the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation:
The Goodie Two Shoes Foundation provides disadvantaged children and children in crisis with new shoes and socks, as well as other items deemed essential for good health and positive development. Goodie Two Shoes programming is based on the premise that they don't just provide a child with a new pair of shoes but rather empower participants with choice, by giving them the opportunity to select any pair of high-quality athletic shoes they want from GTSF's traveling 48' mobile shoe-store-on-wheels, which visits them on-site at their school or referring agency. Each participant is measured to ensure proper fit and paired one-on-one with a community volunteer whom takes a special interest, and walks them through the process. GTSF strives to reach 10,000 Southern Nevada children in need, annually.
The Goodie Two Shoes Foundation is proud to be a 501c3 charitable organization. To learn more about the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation, please visit www.goodietwoshoes.org.
