Without a reservation, the cost is $30 for members and $55 for non-members. All payments may be made at the meeting.
Anderson maintains extensive experience representing business owners, municipalities, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in litigation and transactional matters, collections, lien and bond claims, construction disputes, administrative law, OSHA defense, contracts, licensing and related legal matters. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) and the NCBA’s Construction and Administrative Law Sections, and is a former member of the NCBA’s Construction Law Council. He has led numerous seminars on construction matters for various trade associations in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Reservations for the event may be made by emailing Alicia Lewis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Retainage laws are applicable to every member of the local ASAC chapter, and I am happy to have this opportunity to share related best practices,” said Anderson. “North Carolina retainage laws are meant to protect subcontractors from the withholding of payment for their services, so it is important that those in the construction industry completely understand these laws. I look forward to the opportunity to further discuss this topic with local ASAC members.”
