Portland, OR, June 15, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Marketing Coach, Tea Silvestre of Story Bistro in Portland, Oregon has reinvented the business workshop. Next month, 50 micro-business owners will gather to mastermind and learn how to tell better marketing stories as they participate in physical activities like yoga, hiking, art projects and cooking a communal meal together. Silvestre is billing the event as “Summer Camp for Your Business.”
Marketing Mastermind & Storytelling Soiree
July 19, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. & July 20, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Tickets: $147 (includes all meals) – register at: bit.ly/soireepdx
Location: OPAL 28, NE Portland
Attendees will learn how to apply storytelling strategies to their marketing plans including areas of branding, product creation, pricing and service delivery. Several mastermind sessions, roundtable discussions and individual coaching dialogues are also planned for the two-day event.
“I’m excited to share my storytelling framework as an alternative to the traditional marketing plan,” said Silvestre. “So many micro business owners avoid doing a business or marketing plan because they feel it doesn't make sense for them. Without a solid plan in place, business success has to rely solely on luck. And that's not the best approach for smart entrepreneurs."
Silvestre is offering 10 needs-based scholarships for local entrepreneurs. They should apply at bit.ly/soireepdx no later than June 30, 2014 to be considered.
Sponsorships are also available.
