Women in Travel Summit (WITS) Announces WITS '15 Call for Speakers
Applications open to give presentations on travel, entrepreneurship, blogging, and other relevant skills to 300 female travel bloggers at Boston summit.
Boston, MA, July 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Go Girl Travel Network has announced the call for speakers at the second annual Women in Travel Summit (WITS).
WITS is the first and only travel blogging summit by and for women. It educates, inspires, and connects female travel bloggers together, while also providing a forum for bloggers and travel brands to grow relationships with each other. WITS ’15 will be held at the luxurious Revere Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts from March 27-29, 2015. WITS is the creation of Go Girl Travel Network, an online resource and community for female travelers.
Approximately 180 attendees (98% of which were women) joined WITS ’14 this past March in Chicago, Illinois. Attendees hailed from 25 US states and 8 countries. WITS ’15 expects a turnout of about 300 travelers, bloggers, and industry executives from all over the world.
Applications to provide a one-hour presentation to 300 travel bloggers and industry members are now open to the public. The ideal speaker will have experience with topics that fall within the categories of traveling, blogging, and entrepreneurship. This may include beginner-level topics such as packing for a long excursion and basic social media skills, or more advanced topics like coding and content marketing.
WITS seeks to build a diverse speaker base that includes individuals who may not work directly in the travel industry. Marketing directors, CEOs, software engineers, professors who have lived or worked in a foreign country, or anyone else that feels they can bring value that is applicable to women travel media professionals are all welcome.
