Aranda, L.E., C.O.E., is the first Esthetician in California to offer a 100% completely Gluten-Free Facial, Hand and Foot Spa treatment protocol from start to finish. A handful of spas will offer a Gluten Free mask or moisturizer within their spa menus, but Ms. Aranda is the first to create an entire Spa Menu option that does not contain any Gluten, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein or Gluten-derived ingredient. These services are ideal for those with any level of Gluten intolerance, hyper-sensitive skin or allergies. Ms. Aranda’s Gluten-Free Facials are currently featured in Les Nouvelles Esthétiques & Spa Magazine (US Edition), the most widely-published, Internationally-renowned professional skin care and spa publication in the world. Article: “Food For Thought”
Ms. Aranda completed certification from Touch for Cancer’s Oncology Esthetics® in March 2013 and expanded her practice to serve guests in Northern California with, or recovering from, Cancer. During her training, Ms. Aranda learned of a product line called Tecniche®, which specifically offers relief and anti-aging benefits to Sensitive, Health-Challenged® skin types and those undergoing Cancer treatments. After using Tecniche® on a Gluten-sensitive patient, the patient realized she “had no allergic reaction to anything used in the facial” and reported to Ms. Aranda that this was the first time in years she didn’t suffer from any adverse reaction. Ms. Aranda tested the protocol further and had positive responses from her spa guests.
Through Touch for Cancer’s certification, Ms. Aranda to learn how to perform proper and effective protocols using compatible skin care ingredients. Her current experience with her Mobile Spa allows her to bring the Spa directly to homes and hospitals for clients who could not otherwise go to a salon or spa—including providing service to those who are turned away from spas because the staff lacks of proper specialized skin care education. Now, she serves the Gluten-sensitive segment of the community, especially those who had difficulty identifying allergic reactions related to hydrolyzed wheat protein-based products.
“Beyond keeping my practice on the cutting-edge and fully mobile, this certification will allow me to safely serve a new and well-deserving base of individuals with health-challenged® skin,” Ms. Aranda says. “My goal is that through the power of the Esthetic Touch, I can now provide a soothing escape for individuals battling conditions and allergies that would have prevented them from enjoying spa treatments in the past. In addition, I am able to provide full spa services and for patients and caretakers, friends and family affected by allergies, Cancer, Diabetes, and more.”
