America’s celebrity fitness dance guru, Stepp Stewart is gearing up for the “Stepp Challenge: Get Fit” weekend to be held January 9-10, 2015 in Rochester, New York. Stewart, who has appeared on The Dr. Oz Show and an Ambassador of Healthcorps ® will lead a community-wide fitness workout and weight-loss challenge at a location in the Rochester area to be announced at a later date. A part of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Healthcorps 501 © non-profit organization.
Founded by heart surgeon and two-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz and his wife Lisa, HealthCorps®’ vision is to lead a nationwide movement toward a new generation of healthy young people ultimately combating the childhood obesity crisis.
Healthcorps Honoree and Ambassador, Stepp Stewart with invited guest, legendary actor Bill Cobbs will kick-off the weekend with a VIP reception and honorary awards ceremony. In addition to this event, Stewart will host a weight-loss challenge and lead participants in a power-packed workout during this healthy lifestyle event.
This fitness fair will include a variety of healthy foods, lively entertainment, and lots of interactive activities for people of all ages.
