B2B Industry Veteran Geri FitzGerald Joins SIIA as Director of Marketing and Strategic Services for ABM and CISD Divisions

Former Publisher for Adweek Media Group and Chief Executive Group Will Focus on Developing Membership

Washington, DC, August 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the leading association representing the software and digital content industries, today announced that Geri FitzGerald will join SIIA divisions – the Association of Business Information & Media Companies (ABM) and the Content & Information Services Division (CISD) – as Director of Marketing and Strategic Services.

As an industry veteran in both B2B and consumer media, Geri FitzGerald has held top positions with leading media organizations. She previously worked as VP and Publisher for Guest Informant, and went on to lead the marketing efforts for the digital media operations of BPA International. She then joined VNU Business Media, where she served as Publisher for Sales and Marketing Management and then VP and Publisher for the Adweek Media Group. Her most recent role was EVP and Publisher for the Chief Executive Group.

In her position as Director of Marketing and Strategic Services, FitzGerald will focus on bringing in new media members to ABM and CISD.
