)-- The League of Adventurous Women ® announced today that producer, creative director and adventurer Diane Sillan Isaacs has joined its Advisory Board. Sillan Isaacs, a world-class triathlete whose mantra is “show up in life,” is expected to bring a new layer of perspective to a diverse and dynamic Board.
“Diane has a wealth of experience and has done things most people only dream of doing,” said League President Michaelle Scanlon. “She has an adventurous spirit, a creative heart, and a caring soul – we are very excited to have her on our Advisory Board.”
Sillan Isaacs is the fifth member of The League’s Advisory Board. She joins Stacy Alison, the first American woman to summit Mt. Everest; biking industry leader, Jenn Dice; Jennifer Olson, editor-in-chief of Women’s Adventure magazine, and hiker/author Michelle Pugh.
“The League is striving to become a national resource for women’s adventure groups and individuals,” added Scanlon. “We’re offering all women a way to find organizations in their own communities, to expand their horizons, make new friends and just have fun. Diane is joining a very strong Advisory Board whose guidance is helping us reach that goal.”
