Non-Profit Organization Dedicated to Care and Enjoyment of Water Resources Will Use Website to Educate and Coordinate

Delavan, WI, August 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Lower Sugar River Watershed Association (LSRWA) launched a new interactive website,www.lsrwa.org. LSRWA is an organization dedicated to empowering citizens with experience and knowledge to become stewards of the land and water resources in the Lower Sugar River Watershed in Southwestern Wisconsin.

The new website gives LSRWA a platform to share important information and resources about the watershed, as well as to help get more people involved in their important cause.

“Our new website gives us the ability to better showcase our mission and programs,” says Susan Lehnhardt, LSRWA President, “and help people become educated about the watershed, their role in preserving it and the important role it plays in the ecosystem.”

The website needed to be flexible and intuitive for all the different types of visitors that use the site. “We wanted a beautiful, clean design that would work for volunteers, first-time visitors, corporations, landowners and educators,” says Lehnhardt.

On choosing Signalfire as an agency, LSRWA volunteer Susan Geye says, “We needed an agency that could design a visually stunning website, as well as have the technical expertise to create a website that could grow and expand in the future as our needs change.”

“We’re thrilled to work with LSRWA,” says Signalfire President Matthew Olson, “and help them increase the visibility of their organization and the important work they do.”

New Website Packs Plenty of Features

Signalfire’s website solution supports a wide range of features and functions, including:

A customized web-based content management system that allows LSRWA to make changes to text, images, and functions through an easy-to-use interface.
A very visual site that can showcase all the beautiful images of the Lower Sugar River watershed.

The ability to expand the site in the future to add more information on the 13 sub-watersheds contained within the main Lower Sugar River watershed.
A news and events section where LSRWA can announce upcoming events and share important news with their community.

The website contains a wealth of information in an organized, easy to navigate layout. “With so much critical information to share, the user interface design was pivotal,” says Geye. “Signalfire’s expertise really paid off. Visitors can quickly find the section of the site they are looking for, but can also easily explore other areas as well.”

“LRSWA is an excellent example of a non-profit organization making the most of the web,” says Olson. “Their dedication to their mission of educating people about the important of the watershed will get a lot of deserved attention.”

The Lower Sugar River Watershed Association can be reached through their website www.lsrwa.org. Look online in the near future for more information on the watershed, how to get involved, and educational programs.
