Workshop on Alternative Photographic Processes

New Delhi, India, September 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, New Delhi is all set to host a Workshop on Alternate Photographic Processes, from 26th – 30th of October, 2014. Participants would get a chance to experiment in this lab-oriented, hands-on workshop, selecting, learning and creating from an extensive array of 19th century photographic processes. Mr. Edson Dias, co-founder of Goa Centre for Alternative Photography (Goa-CAP) conducts the workshop.

This workshop is for creative people of all disciplines who want to expand on their visualizing possibilities, explore new options and inspire new directions, and learn to make cyanotypes - salt prints - vandyke brown and albumen prints with your digital photos.

Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication offers creative photography courses, both short term and regular modes. These photography courses are aimed at introducing the students to the world of professional photography. SACAC equips its students to translate their passion to a profession through this program. The curriculum is designed in such a way that students become much more refined both as individuals and as photographers.

The applicants are required to have basic knowledge of Photography (Analog or Digital). Workshop on Alternative Photographic Processes Workshop fee is Rs. 15, 000 (inclusive of all workshop materials). The last date of registration is 15th October ’14. Started in 2003, the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC) is an autonomous, not-for-profit institution for creative learning in arts and communication. We are a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry. We offer one year diploma programmes in Photography, Audio Engineering and Music Production and Creative Documentary (filmmaking), in addition to courses in Advertising and Public Relations (IMC) and Digital Marketing Communication.
