About Daniel D. Crandall
Mr. Crandall has 30 years experience in the consulting field. He is the Managing Director at Fiscus, LLC which is an international consultancy providing consulting targeting finance. He is responsible for providing executive operational, financial and technical leadership to support direct investment, private equity and transformation opportunities for businesses. Mr. Crandall provides boutique project management services and advises companies globally to provide solutions for nontraditional situations. He also does some real estate management. He has extensive in-country experience with the U.S., Russia, China, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Recent key engagements include a 7 month strategic and operational leadership program in a Russian private equity agricultural start-up and corporate operational and remediation to support successful completion on time and on budget of $12 million+ multi-national SAP implementation program. Previously, Mr. Crandall served as a Senior Manager and Consultant at Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, Minneapolis, Saudi Arabia, Kansas City and Singapore from 1987 to 1999. He led complex IT strategy, development and implementation engagements for domestic and international clients in manufacturing, financial services, distribution and retail sectors. He also led the formation of new startup practices in the Middle East and Singapore and provided global analysis upon which the firm’s five-year global consulting practice investment plan was based. Mr. Crandall then became a Partner with IBM Corporation, IBM Global Services, New York and Singapore from 1999 to 2005 where he held P & L responsibility for a $100 million Asia Pacific production solutions practice, supporting its expansion into new target markets. He was a Key member of the management team for the $1 billion Asia Pacific Industrial Sector services division, simultaneously managing operations in the ASEAN Countries, China, India, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. He sold and delivered a $26.5 million first-of-kind engagement that became a new global qualification for the IBM Corporation. He led IBM’s 80+ professional, $20 million turnover, ERP and Supply Chain consulting practice covering the ASEAN countries and India. Mr. Crandall next worked with his current firm, Fiscus, LLC from 2004 to 2007 as Founder and Managing Director. He served clients to provide C-level strategic, operational, financial and technical leadership. From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Crandall served as Senior Principal at Infosys Technologies, LTD, New York where he was responsible for starting and leading the firm’s discrete manufacturing consulting practice in North America. He led investment process development and was responsible for manufacturing clients on the U.S. East Coast and China. He returned to Fiscus, LLC in 2009. Mr. Crandall is affiliated with the New York Society of Security Analysts, C.F.A. Institute, American Production and Inventory Control Society, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Project Management Institute. He obtained a B.S.in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, a M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Business in 1981 and is a Certified C.F.A., C.P.I.M. and P.M.P. In his spare time he enjoys tennis, sailing and investing.
