With a History of Nearly a Century of Ag Lending, Farm Credit Continues Tradition at 2014 Sunbelt Ag Expo

Farm Credit, the nation’s leading provider of reliable credit to rural America, will offer entertainment, prizes, and ag lending expertise at the 37th Annual Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition set for October 14-16. Farm Credit will be located at B-9.

Moultrie, GA, October 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Country-Pop artist/songwriter Alayna, who has taken the Nashville music scene by storm, will perform in the Farm Credit Building and at the Farm Credit-sponsored Young Farmers’ dinner Wednesday evening, October 15th. Her six-song debut EP, “Top of a Dream,” earned a Breedlove guitar endorsement.

Visitors to the Farm Credit building can also register to win a John Deere D105 Lawn Tractor, which features an automatic transmission—just like a car—and an edge-cutting system for superior performance. They can also attempt to guess the correct number of peanuts in a jar, with the closest entrant receiving a Yeti cooler.

“We’re excited to see many members of our Farm Credit family who already have made the choice to do business with Farm Credit, and to meet folks who may just want to have a conversation about a country home, a hobby farm, or buying their first piece of recreational property,” said Corey Cottle, Director of Marketing at AgGeorgia Farm Credit. “When someone decides to finance with Farm Credit, they get the expertise of a nationwide system of lenders and the benefit of doing business at the local level, with people they know and trust.”

Farm Credit provides more than $199 billion in loans, leases, and related services to farmers, ranchers, rural homeowners, aquatic producers, timber harvesters, agribusinesses, and agricultural and rural utility cooperatives. With nearly 500,000 member-borrowers, Farm Credit’s focus is on meeting the unique financial needs of agriculture and rural America.

“Farmers, ranchers and landowners have all come to rely on Farm Credit and value its cooperative structure—ensuring that we return our profits to borrowers through patronage dividends,” Cottle said. “No other lender serves American producers and agribusinesses that provide affordable food and resources for the world like Farm Credit has for nearly 100 years.”

The Sunbelt Ag Expo is located at Spence Field in Moultrie, four miles southeast of U.S. Hwy. 319 on Hwy. 133. Tickets to the Expo are $10.
