Go Girl Travel Network Launches Applications for Second Blogging Cohort

Chicago, IL, November 06, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Go Girl Travel Network has launched the second round of applications for the Go Girl Blogging Program. The Go Girl blogging program is a year-long course that helps beginner and intermediate travel bloggers grow into travel media professionals. Participation is highly selective – of 64 applicants in the first cohort, only 4 writers were chosen.

Bloggers receive free enrollment in a competitive yet nurturing training program consisting of monthly lessons and activities for emerging travel bloggers in a small group setting, personalized feedback and support from a Go Girl in-house mentor, and free column travelgogirl.com.

Inspired travel bloggers learn to hone their craft, learn the tricks to the digital media trade, and grow as a part of Go Girl’s community of women traveling worldwide. Topics include advances in blogging styles, social media management, press trips and client relations, and search engine optimization. A new cohort launches every four months.

Interested bloggers are encouraged to visit http://www.travelgogirl.com for more information about how to apply. Applications are open from 4 November 2014 – 1 December 2014. Go Girl’s second cohort will officially launch in early January 2015.

Go Girl Travel Network is an online resource and community for 10,000 adventurous, independent, and globally minded female travelers. Go Girl connects women in over 110 countries around the world together through daily online content and podcasts, the weekly #girlstravel Twitter chat, a lively Facebook group, the annual Women in Travel Summit (witsummit.com), and meetup groups in eight cities around the world.
