PR.com)-- The deal was confirmed. In what is their ninth school acquisition to date, Roadmaster has acquired Interstate Driving Academy in Dunn, North Carolina, 40 miles north of Fayetteville. Renamed Roadmaster Drivers School of North Carolina, Roadmaster offers truck driver training and CDL exam preparation at the new location.
Roadmaster has more than doubled its growth in the last five years. Kliethermes, Career Path Training’s Marketing Director (Career Path Training is the parent company of Roadmaster Drivers Schools) joined the company in 2002 and has witnessed many Roadmaster changes. She relates, “Roadmaster has grown steadily but the past 2 to 3 years have been phenomenal. With the addition of Interstate Driving Academy in Dunn and the opening of our second corporate headquarters in Tampa, we’re seeing tremendous growth.”
While Roadmaster’s North Carolina trucking school is a 4-week program, other Roadmaster Drivers Schools have 3-week long truck driver training programs that teach students how to care for and safely drive a truck. They have evening and weekend classes and pre-hire possibilities as well as free job placement assistance for as long as the Roadmaster graduate is a driver. There is financial assistance for qualified students. Roadmaster Drivers School’s truck driver training students are offered the chance to learn the information they need to pass a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Exam, necessary for a CDL that is needed prior to employment.
