Exceptional Children’s Foundation Receives Grant from Variety The Children’s Charity Southern California

Culver City, CA, March 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) is pleased to announce the award of a grant from Variety The Children’s Charity of Southern California. This grant will provide early intervention services and family support services to young children with special needs in ECF’s Early Start Program.

“ECF is grateful for the support from Variety The Children’s Charity of Southern California. This generous grant will help us to improve the lives of children from birth to three years of age with special needs so that they can work toward and achieve key developmental milestones,” said Scott Bowling, President and CEO of ECF.

The Southern California Chapter of Variety was formed in 1941, and to date, has raised over $60 million for children in Southern California. Originally established by eleven Vaudeville showmen, Variety exists for one reason: to help children in need. The organization’s legacy continues into the 21st century with the support, partnership, and sponsorship provided by major motion picture studios, movie theatre chains, as well as national and international retailers, major corporations and individuals.

“ECF’s dedication and commitment to helping the children in our community is inspiring to all of us who strive to enrich the lives of children. We at Variety of Southern California are proud to support the Early Start Program ensuring that some of our smallest kids have the best opportunities for a bright future,” said Elizabeth O’Neil, Executive Director of Variety SoCal.
