The course covers topics ranging from business plans, to strategic planning to marketing (advertising, branding, etc.) to sales skills training to cash flow management to customer service to how to do business in Florida to risk management to much more. PowerPoint slides are used throughout the course and the majority of those slides are contained in the book used for the course, Building a Successful Business. In addition to lecture from the book, Shark Tank episodes are used to teach entrepreneur lessons.

The main reason businesses fail are no business plan and poor management. That is why this course covers both topics; to help ensure the success of the businesses enrolled in the course.

That is why this course teaches a business plan process that demonstrates that the entrepreneur is “A” management.
