"Selfie Look" for S P Jain’s New Mumbai Campus

S P Jain’s newly launched fourth campus in Mumbai gets a one-of-a-kind look. The entire look has been derived from the global "selfie" phenomenon. The look, termed the "Selfie Look," draws on unique features that S P Jain aspires to reflect — modern, authentic and casual.

Mumbai, India, July 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- S P Jain’s newly launched fourth campus in Mumbai, following Dubai, Singapore & Sydney gets a one-of-a-kind look, thanks to Mumbai-based architect Rajesh Patel. He is also the creative mind behind all of the S P Jain’s international campuses, including the award-winning Sydney campus.

The entire look of the Mumbai Campus has been derived from the global ‘selfie’ phenomenon. The look, termed the ‘Selfie Look’, draws on unique features that S P Jain aspires to reflect — modern, authentic and casual. Unpolished surfaces, cement floors, open ceilings blend seamlessly with modern designs, colour and lights, giving the campus a 21st century look.

The S P Jain Mumbai campus is unique in more than just its design. It is the most technologically advanced campus across the country. Its digitally-enhanced classrooms or what we call the ‘learning centres’ are equipped with ‘look at me’ cameras, touch screen whiteboards, high definition inter- classrooms and inter-campus video conferencing facilities. S P Jain is re-designing education by being the first to use these facilities not simply as solutions, but as enablers of change and innovation in the classroom.

A distinctive highlight of the new Mumbai campus is its Simulation Centre, the first-of-its-kind in any business school in the world. Just as simulators train pilots in a safe environment on the ground, the Centre will enable students to learn about complex business situations and sharpen their real-world and decision-making skills using advanced multimedia simulations. These Simulation Centres are practicing grounds for students to test their business mettle in a safe learning environment helping them refine their skills and prepare for a global business career.

The six glass-enclosed Student Break-Out Rooms are available for students to meet and discuss real-world business issues, and promote decision-making through peer learning. The ability to plug in their laptops into the facility and project their presentations in a television screen allows them to present their case studies in a business-like format preparing them for a corporate business career.

The Boardroom, tucked behind the Break-Out Rooms, trains the mind to make the most effective decisions in a complex and uncertain business world. Seamlessly fast internet connections in these rooms facilitate uninterrupted meetings that can be conducted across the global campuses in Singapore, Dubai and Sydney with fellow counterparts.

Complete with a world-class cafeteria and executive lounge, students and visitors to the campus can treat themselves to international food and specialty coffees.
