Hatfield, PA, September 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) will be exhibiting at Titanium USA 2015 in Booth #712 from October 4th through October 7th at the Rosen Shingle Creek Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida. LTI offers a wide range of mechanical testing, metallography and chemistry services that can evaluate material composition and the effects of heat treatments on titanium materials. Ultrasonic testing and other nondestructive testing services are also provided to identify flaws and inconsistencies in tubing, pipe, barstock and component parts.

“LTI is experienced with all types of Titanium and Ti alloy compositions. Our engineers, chemists and other specialists provide the necessary testing to meet customer specifications with fast, reliable test results,” said Brandon McVaugh, Destructive Test Manager. “We even have furnaces to perform capability heat treating on test samples before we test to verify upgrade to specification.”

LTI is Nadcap accredited in materials and nondestructive testing and also accredited by A2LA in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 for materials testing. Titanium testing is performed to industry standards including AMS, ASME, ASTM, NAS and MIL.

As a full-service materials and nondestructive testing lab, Laboratory Testing Inc. can perform the complete scope of metals testing required by raw material producers, distributors, manufacturers, fabricators and others in the supply chain. Some of the more common testing services performed on titanium material and samples include the following:

-Instrumental and wet chemistry services provide qualitative and quantitative data about elements in the test sample.

- Microscopic examination can determine the extent of alpha case formation

- Microhardness testing

- Tensile, stress rupture, creep, fracture toughness, fatigue crack growth and other mechanical tests to verify mechanical properties

- High-speed immersion ultrasonic testing

Titanium USA 2015 is hosted by the International Titanium Association (ITA). Established in 1984, ITA’s mission is to connect the public with member organizations who may provide technical and sales assistance. Titanium offers insights into the current state of the industry as well as efficient, high-value networking opportunities to exchange ideas and gain valuable insight into the state of the global titanium industry. There are nearly 1,000 guests from more than 30 countries expected to be in attendance at this year’s Titanium exhibition.
