Writers of the Future Volume 32 Cover Artwork Announced
Los Angeles, CA, February 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Galaxy Press announced the new cover art for L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 32 as painted by internationally renowned fine artist, Sergey Poyarkov and is titled “Do Not Stop!”

Sergey Poyarkov, celebrating his 25th anniversary as a gold award winner of the L. Ron Hubbard Illustrators of the Future, is featured as the cover artist for this year’s anthology, Writers of the Future Volume 32. www.WritersoftheFuture.com

It was in 1991, just after the fall of the iron curtain in what was then called the USSR, that Sergey Poyarkov, from Ukraine, took home the prestigious Gold Award and his $5,000 cash prize. He has since gone on to considerable success as an illustrator and fine artist, with his works displayed in exhibitions across Russia, UK, Europe and the United States. Poyarkov later became a contest judge for the Illustrators of the Future Contest where he has been very active in paying it forward to other aspiring artists. He has published five books in which he conveys not only his art but his own philosophy of art, bringing an expression of pride in his heritage and appreciation of his new friends in other countries.

Poyarkov will travel to Hollywood from the Ukraine to attend the Hubbard Achievement Awards ceremony taking place April 10 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre. He exemplifies much of what the L. Ron Hubbard Writers and Illustrators of the Future Contests are all about, and what Mr. Hubbard said of artists: “A culture is as rich and as capable of surviving as it has imaginative artists. The artist is looked upon to start things. The artist injects the spirit of life into a culture.”

Based on the cover’s unique look, the theme for the Awards Ceremony will be Steam Punk and the dress code has been set as Formal or Steam Punk formal.

Writers of the Future Volume 32 will be released at the gala awards ceremony to be held April 10, 2016 at the famous Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. Inspired by best-selling author L. Ron Hubbard, the merit-based Writers of the Future writing contest was initiated 32 years ago to discover and encourage talented beginning writers of science fiction and fantasy. The Contest was later expanded to include illustrators whose winners have also gone on to successful illustration and design careers.
