Local Nonprofit Holds Excess Inventory Sale

Dress for Success Tampa Bay Sells Excess Clothing, Shoes, Purses to Support Mission and Ongoing Needs.

Tampa, FL, February 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Want to expand your wardrobe on a budget and support a local nonprofit organization? Dress for Success Tampa Bay will hold its semi-annual Excess Inventory Sale on February 26-27. Proceeds will allow the organization to purchase much needed plus-size business attire and larger-size shoes and help with boutique expenses.

“Your purchase will not only put clothes on your back, but allows us to continue to put clothes on the backs of so many women,” said Executive Director Katie McGill.

The Excess Inventory Sale will be held at Bayshore Baptist Church at 3111 W. Morrison Ave., South Tampa. Hours are: Friday, Feb. 26, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 27, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cash and credit cards for over $25 are accepted, all sales are final and no children.

With only two employees and many volunteers, Dress for Success Tampa Bay relies on grants, donations, and fundraising events to continue offering our services locally. This nonprofit helped more than 1,500 women in 2015 and received the WEDU Be More Empowered award last February.

This nonprofit helps disadvantaged women return to the workplace and become economically independent. Although known primarily for providing interview attire for women, Dress for Success Tampa Bay also provides career search and job skills assistance. This nonprofit’s Career Center helps with resume writing, mock interviews, and software training.

General donations can be made via PayPal https://tampabay.dressforsuccess.org and up-to-date sale information will be posted on facebook.com/dressforsuccesstampabay.
