Boise, ID, May 04, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Help Interfaith Sanctuary give a safe play area to Boise's most vulnerable children.

On May 5, 2016, Idaho Gives fundraising day has picked Interfaith Sanctuary as one of the worthy nonprofits for fundraising. Interfaith Sanctuary's goal is to build a permanent playground for Boise’s homeless children. The special project is in conjunction with P.A.T.H.S., a group of Boise area high school students who initiated the fundraising for the playground on the Interfaith Sanctuary campus in Boise, Idaho.

P.A.T.H.S. is made up of a group of teenagers at Bishop Kelly High School who volunteer weekly with the homeless kids at Interfaith Sanctuary. These students raised money for a dedicated "Kids Play Area."

So far P.A.T.H.S. has raised $10,000 to go towards the creation of a Family Kid Area at Interfaith Sanctuary. The total cost for the project is estimated at $22,000.

Planned for construction include a private area complete with a secure door for the kids to safely play in. Also a chalkboard walls, a dedicated arts and crafts area, landscaping and shade trees, hopscotch, tetherball, 4 square and a mini tennis and a pickle ball set-up.
