Kirby Noonan Lance & Hoge Transitions Into Multiple Law Firms

After a 40-year tradition of quality work and service, Kirby Noonan Lance & Hoge will transition into five respective practices.

San Diego, CA, July 08, 2016 --(PR.com)-- After 40 years together, the law firm of Kirby Noonan Lance & Hoge (KNL&H) will separate into multiple firms: Kirby & Kirby LLP, Noonan Lance Boyer & Banach LLP, Hoge Law Firm, The Law Office of Steven W. Sanchez and The Law Office of Christopher T. Wright.

The separation allows each firm to pursue their current practice areas in their preferred locations and will provide their respective current and new clients with the same high level of expertise and personalized attention for which KNL&H was known. Some of the firms will continue to work together on cases, as applicable.

KNL&H was regularly recognized for its success with complex and large cases, including being honored for the past three years by U.S. News-Best Lawyers as one of “America’s Best Law Firms” and by Martindale-Hubbell as one of the “Top Ranked Law Firms” in the U.S., received by less than one percent of U.S. law firms. KNL&H was also frequently the firm of choice to represent clients in “Bet-the-Company” litigation. The firm’s lawyers are versed in both plaintiff and defense litigation, as well as arbitration, mediation and other methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

These areas of expertise will continue in each of the new firms:

Kirby & Kirby LLP will be located at 501 W. Broadway, across the street from the downtown courthouse. The firm is led by Michael L. Kirby and Jason M. Kirby, who have been partners together at KNL&H for almost a decade. The Kirbys and associate attorney Heather W. Schallhorn will continue their business litigation and trial focused practice, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

Noonan Lance Boyer & Banach LLP (“NoonanLance”) will remain in the East Village, but will be moving to new office space in the historic Pack Loft Building near the ballpark. The firm will be led by partners David Noonan, James Lance, Ethan Boyer and Micaela Banach, along with associate Genevieve Ruch, and will continue to focus on complex commercial litigation, including real estate, legal malpractice defense and employment law.

Hoge Law Firm will be based in La Jolla, California, where Charles T. Hoge has been a resident for the past 20 years. His practice specialties include partnership, real estate, employment, intellectual property, unfair competition, trade secret and professional liability matters.

The Law Office of Steven W. Sanchez will be located in Bonita, California, Sanchez’s home for the past 43 years. He will continue to represent clients in the areas of business, commercial, and complex litigation as well as professional malpractice defense.

The Law Office of Christopher T. Wright will be based in a LEED Gold-certified building in the East Village. A native San Diegan, Wright will continue to serve clients in the areas of employment law, personal injury and business litigation, including real estate and construction matters.

KNL&H partner Andrea K. Russell will continue to work as independent legal counsel to some of these firms and various other clients. Other personnel, including paralegals and support staff, will continue on in their current roles with the firms listed above.
