Wondermade Partners with Manna Project International to Benefit Low-Income Communities in Ecuador and Nicaragua

Sanford, FL, July 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Orlando-based confectioner Wondermade is partnering with Manna Project International to help to break the cycle of poverty in underserved communities around the world. Wondermade will donate fifteen percent of online sales completed with the code “MANNAPROJECT” through the month of July.

Wondermade’s handcrafted marshmallows have been on the rise since 2012, when husband-and-wife owners Nathan and Jenn Clark opened their storefront in downtown Sanford, Florida. They have since mastered the art of creating specialty marshmallow flavors like Orangesicle, Root Beer, and Key Lime Pie and are currently running a Kickstarter campaign to expand their product line to include ice cream. Wondermade has caught treat lovers’ attention on CNN, Huffington Post, Martha Stewart, and Today.

Wondermade’s founding principles of love and giving inspired the Clarks to partner with Manna Project International. The partnership will equip low-income families in Ecuador and Nicaragua with opportunities to develop their own small businesses. “Manna Project International’s programs are designed to strengthen communities through education, health, leadership development, and economic empowerment,” says Meghan Brennan, MPI Director of Communications. “Wondermade’s partnership is a wonderful opportunity for us to connect locally while serving communities in need.”

Manna Project International, based out of Orlando, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that utilizes the passions and energy of young people to empower developing international communities through hands-on learning and service. They currently have international sites in Nicaragua and Ecuador, where teams of 13-month volunteer Program Directors work alongside targeted communities to implement a wide array of development programs. These programs are designed to strengthen communities through education, health, leadership development, and economic empowerment.

To support this partnership, shop www.wondermade.com with the code “MANNAPROJECT” at checkout before July 31, 2016. Fifteen percent of your purchase will be donated.
